Nice to Have:

Hands-on experience with API Management platforms such as Kong, AWS API Gateway, or similar tools.
Expertise in implementing and scaling Elastic Kubernetes (EKS) platforms, and the ability to optimize resource utilization and performance.
Experience in implementing blue/green (or A/B) and canary deployments, and the ability to ensure zero-downtime releases.
Experience working in a PCI-compliant environment, and the ability to adhere to strict security and compliance requirements.
Demonstrable experience working in an Agile Scrum team with Jira, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

You Will Succeed With:

A bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
At least 3 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, with a proven track record of delivering successful projects and solutions.
A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience with Kubernetes, OpenShift, or EKS, and expertise in infrastructure-as-code methodologies and automation technologies such as CloudFormation and Terraform.
Familiarity with a broad range of AWS infrastructure tools and services.
Strong skills in monitoring and alerting best practices using solutions such as: ELK stack, Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, Dynatrace, etc.
Experience in designing, building, and supporting CI/CD pipelines, and optimizing production applications in both stand-alone and distributed systems to achieve maximum performance.
Proficient in written and verbal communication in English, and the ability to maintain documentation for existing applications and platforms.
The ability to work collaboratively with Compliance, Risk, and Security teams to verify requirements and controls from these teams.
Ability to work remotely and manage your own time.

Your key role is to provide support and coaching to the agile teams and introduce industry best practices to their daily workflows.

What You Will Do:

Work with delivery teams to define and implement streamlined CI/CD pipelines that enhance software development and deployment processes.
Proactively identify and resolve any issues related to software development and deployment processes whether on-premises or in the cloud.
Drive the continuous improvement of software development, deployment processes and infrastructure through automation, monitoring, and optimization techniques.
Design, implement, and maintain the frameworks and platforms required to support software development and deployment activities.
Provide mentorship and training to other members of the Delivery Teams on DevOps best practices.
Participate in relevant technical conferences, meetups, webinars, and training sessions to stay informed about the latest advancements in DevOps practices and emerging technologies.
